Ligger super fint längs kanalen. Trevlig personal som va hjälpsamma. Glöm ej att äta deras våfflor smakar bra efter en dag på eller vid kanalen. Rummet va fina det mesta fans. Jag bodde i rum 7 fantastisk utsikt från detta rummet. Ligger ett netto i närheten om man vill laga sin mat. Bra städat.

This is not a luxurious hotel. It is a hostel in an ancient Swedish house at the most beautiful place by the Göta Channel. You have to like history and old places to enjoy this. We found the place fascinating and visited the nearby museum, too. The service was friendly and there was enough parking space. Our children enjoyed the nearby playground a lot. The room was tidy although everything wasn't quite in the best shape anymore. It was a bit like living in a museum. It was very nice to have a walk along the channel, there are lots of attractive historical buildings around.

Very good waffles with sweet toppings (but not much else to choose from). Drinks are limited to brewed coffee and standard soda.||Even so, service is very good and the setting (next to the Göta Canal) is well worth the detour. Do go!

Had such a perfect stay at Mallbodens Cafe and Hostel. The room had everything, a full kitchen with everything you would needed you wanted to cook your own meals, free wifi, And if you didn't want to cook they had all this yummy food at the cafe, shrimp sandwich, waffles, taco pie, meatball sandwich, thin crust pizza, and not to speak about the homemade desserts, to die for!! You can choose to sit inside our outdoors and watch the boats go by. They also have a couple of bikes that you can borrow and ride to town which is not very far 10 min at the most. If you need to do laundry they have a washer available as well. Grocery store is within walking distance. I don't mind sharing the bathroom with other guests, everyone is on the same page to keep it clean and nice. The best thing about this place is that's it's a family affair, and they are so nice and friendly to everyone. I can highly recommend this place unless you are one of those people who don't like to share the bathroom.

Et super dejligt vandrehjem i en bebyggelse som er meget hyggeligt og originalt. Man bor i små lejligheder med 4 sengepladser og et lille køkken alrum.|Vandrerhjemmet har en fin cafe med gode kager, kaffe og hvor man spiser morgenmad.||Vandrerhjemmet ligger lige ud til kanalen i et historisk industri miljø og er meget anbefalelses værdigt.|

The location is excellent next to a canal that is parallel to the Göta canal with an interesting view at the 'Verkstad". Family room with kitchen with everything you need. |The place overall has a cosy atmosphere brought about by the environment and the very nice and helpfull owners. Shared toilet and shower facilities.
